Set Daily, Weekly, or Monthly Status Alerts

Introducing a new feature for your Simtek StealthALERT. Starting today, you can wake up your sensor to send periodic alerts and choose between daily, weekly, or monthly frequencies.

This feature is especially helpful if you have your StealthALERT in a location far away that you don't access often and would like battery, signal, and temp/humidity check-ins every week or month. It can also be helpful for anyone who wants more regular ongoing updates from their sensor to ensure it's alive and kicking!

How To Set Status Alerts

1. First, update your sensor over the air. This requires a firmware update as a prerequisite.
2. Second, update your Simtek app on your phone. This requires a software update for the Simtek app.
3. Finally, go into your app, find the sensor you want to set a status alert for, and tap "EDIT." At the bottom, you'll see a Status Alert toggle. Choose daily, weekly, or monthly frequency and hit save.

Very Important Note: Status alerts can only be applied to your sensor from the next alert going forward. Your StealthALERT sensor can only get instructions from the app when it next sends an alert. If you set a status alert in the Simtek app and never trigger your sensor to get an alert, your setting won't be applied.
